I chose Precision Garage Door for 2 reasons - their outstanding reviews and the fact that they service garage doors on the weekend. My spring broke on a Friday night. I did my research and made an appt for Saturday morning (yes, my car was being held hostage in my garage). Mike Rodriguez called me Saturday morning and asked if he could come earlier (that NEVER happens). He arrived, assessed what had to be done and explained every step of the way to me including saying what might have to be replaced - and if so, what the extra cost would be. A true professional. He finished up and the door is working perfectly. I hope I don't need their services again anytime soon, but you can be assured I WILL be calling them again if need them. And I will be recommending them to friends.

Replaced lithium battery in remote but door opener did not work and would not Learn a new code. I tried new battery flipped both ways. So, I stupidly cleared codes but then my inside coded wall opener wouldnt work and RF signal to Learn new code didn't take. Figured it had to need a new circuit board but called Precision to verify. They troubleshooted and found same problems. Since my wall control had slightly dim light on key pad tried new battery and it worked. Tried remote also with battery turned around and now they both work. What are chances BOTH batteries (different types) go out at same time so it was hard to troubleshoot. Mike was on time, patient in troubleshooting and only charged $60 service fee since only needed a 9 volt battery for keypad which is standard and very fair. He saved me from ordering a new circuit board to replace. So replace batteries even when they appear to be working (lighting) on your keypad

I used Precision a few years ago to replace both springs. They did good work at a fair price and so when my door went out of balance, Precision was the obvious choice. I liked that I could make an appointment online - no chance of being put on hold or having to leave a message. Click the date and time period, add a few details and done in a minute or two. On the day the tech (Cory) showed up 30 minutes into the window I had selected (which was perfect), was super friendly and easy to work with. Listened to my issue, told me what he was going to do about it and that he would check for a few other things while he was at it and that he would let me know if he found anything. 15 minutes later he told me what he found - a few things beginning to show wear and tear (the door is 10 yo) but nothing that needs to be replaced right now but "keep an eye on this and keep an eye on that'. No hard sell - just informative which was good. He then fixed the balance in about another 10 minutes, showed me how the door was now balanced, we chatted for a little and then off he went to his next gig. Probably 30-40 minutes from start to finish - no fanfare, no hard sell - just focused on getting the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible. Total cost as $125 for a door inspection and tune up which seemed about right. Overall very happy with process from booking to paying.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE (THIS NEED): Extremely poor customer service as they do NOT do follow-up calls or call when previously scheduled for equipment/installation info update. After waiting multiple days AFTER my previous (and multiple) scheduled phone call updates, I was always the one initiating the update from Precision. It also took Precision multiple days before showing up to review my problem and then, on day of scheduled show, wanted to cancel my appointment; I balked and someone showed up later that day.....was told by field service, this delay much less last-minute cancellation should never have happened. Excellent field/installation services. Too bad field services cannot take over customer service work in the future. Not a happy repeat customer (current and last house) this time.

First, the receptionist who took our call was very polite and understanding. She even put in a request for an earlier appointment, if one became available. The technician who came out to look at our garage door was very knowledgeable and conveyed in layman's terms all that he was going to do. He also tried to keep the cost down, which he did. It did not take him very long to fix our door. He was very polite and friendly. Highly recommended.

Call Prescision Door because my remotes would not work. Jon was able to program it but the motor started to smoke. The system was 18 years old and suspected it needed replacement. Jon replaced it and was very helpful in programming it to my new car. Jon was very pleasant and explained everything to me when he finished. I would recommend them for any work on your garage doors.

Arguably the best company of the area. The technicians showed up early, were efficient, respectful, professional, and personable.
