In the midst of the snowstorm our garage door left spring broke. We called our original company on Monday and never heard back from them . At 2 pm that day we called precision. They called right back & scheduled an appointment for this morning at 9 am. Garrett arrived on time & was very professional. In less than 2 hours the Job was done - all while working in a cold garage!

When I called, I was very specific for an estimate and to be sent directly to me via email because I would be away. My husband isn't able to make a decision about the garage issue. Instead the technician gives him a quote and asked my husband, whose not very clear-headed right now, if he wanted the work down. My husband was confused and gave consent. And so he does the work, despite my request that it was only for an estimate and that it would be sent to me via email. I had received a quote that was $800 from another company. The tech charged my husband $1555.00. Then the technician tells my husband that if he doesn't receive an email with the receipt right away, it will take 2-3 days to give it to him. I came home and found out all that had happened. I was never given the quote via email, and was concerned who this person is because he now has our credit card info. I called Precision Garage to get the receipt right away because when you pay, you get a receipt right away. And I was able to get the receipt. I feel like we have been taken advantage of, especially my husband's inability to make a decision, and I made it clear that the guy coming was only to give me an estimate.

Great service. Max, the service person, arrived promptly at the start of the scheduled window. He checked the problem, broken spring, and other door parts and went over the range of services from the basic which was just the spring replacement to other items that could be considered. He explained the fees and completed the work. Payment was quick with my credit card and I had received an email confirmation of my appointment and my receipt. Max was bright and cheery.

Excellent same day service! Kevin called beforehand to let me know when he would arrive, arrived on time, and quickly fixed my garage door. He showed me beautiful options for garage door replacement that would work well with the design if our home, left an estimate for future reference and a glossy color brochure with photos and colors. He was warm, professional, and low key. We will definitely hire him when we decide to replace our door which is over 49 years old. Highly recommend!
