I chose Precision Garage Door for 2 reasons - their outstanding reviews and the fact that they service garage doors on the weekend. My spring broke on a Friday night. I did my research and made an appt for Saturday morning (yes, my car was being held hostage in my garage). Mike Rodriguez called me Saturday morning and asked if he could come earlier (that NEVER happens). He arrived, assessed what had to be done and explained every step of the way to me including saying what might have to be replaced - and if so, what the extra cost would be. A true professional. He finished up and the door is working perfectly. I hope I don't need their services again anytime soon, but you can be assured I WILL be calling them again if need them. And I will be recommending them to friends.

Poor experience with this company. The technician was very prompt, polite and professional but learnt upon his visit that they don’t carry the right parts for our kind of garage doors. I wish they had made it clear during the intake process. When I wrote to the office manager about this issue, I was hoping they would credit the charge or at least apologize. On the contrary,, she threatened with a concocted up story on how I used profanity with the technician. I am amazed how businesses treat their repeat customers. Well, they lost one such today.

Nothing was concocted or made up or threatened. Your initial message to the office included that we had lost you as a customer and you would be writing reviews and passing the word. They replaced the motors on my garage doors recently. Within 2-3months, one of the metal plates detached from the door. It cost me $330 to have them come out and spend 20 minutes fixing their shoddy work. They will gouge you! Avoid if possible.

What a great experience! My door broke on a Sunday, I sent an email to them that afternoon, and my door was fixed by Monday early afternoon. Can't say enough good things about Max. Our garage door had a number of issues and needed an overhaul. It also had a safety sensor issue that was preventing the door from closing. I called Precision late in the afternoon and was able to get an appointment first thing the next day. Max showed up right on time and went right to work. Straightening the rails, new rollers, new springs, etc. Then came the sensor issue. He aligned them both, the lights were on as they should be, and sometimes the garage would close, sometimes it wouldn't. He checked every inch of the wiring, and it was fine. Eventually, he found a possible fault in one of the sensors and replaced it. The same problem persisted. Sometimes the door would close, sometimes it wouldn't. He ended up calling Lift Master, and it turns out that on my particular model you cannot just change one of the safety sensors, you have to change both. So, after he changed the second one, it works perfectly. The dedication and professionalism Max displayed in determining the resolution to this problem was top notch, as was his work on the overhaul. I cannot thank him enough for a job well done.

I'm truly impressed. When I called, I described the problem, and was quoted a price based on my description. When the technician arrived, he discovered that the issue was not as a I described, but that the spring holding the band in place had not been installed (at all?). He charged me only for the visit, fixed the spring AND also put a new light bulb in for me because it was too high for me to reach.
