Spring broke on the working side of the garage turning a procrastination into an actual problem. Layne came by, assessed, made some recommendations, went to work and repaired both sides in a couple hours. Cleaned up after himself and explained in detail some maintenance to prevent future issues. Needed him same day and he was at the house around 90 minutes from me making the appointment. All parts on hand.

The whole experience was fantastic. From scheduling the appointment on Sunday to Cameron's arrival today. They took the time to explain everything to include providing options for fixing the problem. Once option was selected he went right to work fixing the problem. Over an hour later he was finished and everything was cleaned-up. I would definitely call them again.

My self-generated overhead door problem arose when I decided to make the repair myself. Of course, this resulted in unmitigated failure. I hate that word! With other home-owner, even more critical issues to deal with . . . and after bending to the task to repair the door problem without success after six hours . . . I caved. Google to the rescue. Near the top of the list was Precision Door Service. My failure occurred on Saturday…door left partially open. Open invitation to burglars and thieves. Was anyone out there who would arrive on a Sunday to save my home-owner life? (patriotic music!). “Hello, this is Precision Door Service. May I help you?” “Yes. I have a problem. I’m in Burke, Virginia. I tried to fix my garage door and it didn’t work. I know this is Saturday. Can you help me?” “Yes. We can have someone out there tomorrow (Sunday!)” Is that okay?” An appointment was set. Noon to 2 Sunday. Sunday! Set your watch. At noon, Matt Meier arrived. We looked over the problem. He gave me a reasonable estimate. In less than two hours, the door operated as well as new. Can I give more than five stars?

Kevin was very professional. He came and diagnosed serious problems with our 1980's system. He offered several options and excellent advice. He followed up exactly as promised and completed a pretty big overhaul - results flawless. My car was "trapped" and he helped me get it out before the parts could be shipped. Very satisfied and would recommend you in a heartbeat. Also invoicing / logistics were flawless. And response time was much better than I had feared.
