My car was trapped inside the garage and I needed to be somewhere by 4:00 PM. I called Precision Garage Door at 8:00 AM and Max was knocking on my door by 9:00 AM. Rather than just replacing the coil, which another company had done about 3 years previously, Max determined the reason for the failure. Max recommended the internal mechanisms that lift the door be replaced, in addition to putting on a new coil. He made adjustments and reinforcements that should have been made when the house was built. Max also showed me how to balance our garage door so as to reduce the strain on the coil. When Max left, my 15 year old garage door lifted smoothly and quietly! It no longer sounded like a jet engine taking off!! Max deserves a 6-star rating, in my opinion! I will only do business with Precision Garage Door of Northern, VA, Fredericksburg!

I chose Precision after looking at the great reviews. Max did a wonderful job repairing a garage door spring and shaft that had been repaired by another company only six months ago but failed. He fully explained the options and exactly what was covered and what was not covered. When done, Max showed me everything he had done and what I needed to do to keep the door in good working condition. Excellent work!

Precision's response to our emergency call to fix a non-working garage door operator was awesome. Scheduling the service call by phone was quick and Max, the technician arrived within a couple of hours. We were impressed with his professional appraisal and quick diagnosis and repair of the electronic malfunctions in our Genie safety sensor. Max also took the time to check the mechanical components of our garage door and cheerfully shared maintenance tips on how we homeowners can keep aging equipment in good shape. When my garage door opener suddenly died, I called Precision. They sent a technician that same afternoon. Max couldn't have been more professional, courteous and helpful. He did an expert job installing a new opener, and showed me where the rubber at the bottom of the door needed to be replaced to keep out "critters." He was very careful about disinfecting everything he touched and keeping a safe distance. When he came back to replace the rubber and it was like seeing an old friend who cared about keeping me safe.

Our garage door had a number of issues and needed an overhaul. It also had a safety sensor issue that was preventing the door from closing. I called Precision late in the afternoon and was able to get an appointment first thing the next day. Max showed up right on time and went right to work. Straightening the rails, new rollers, new springs, etc. Then came the sensor issue. He aligned them both, the lights were on as they should be, and sometimes the garage would close, sometimes it wouldn't. He checked every inch of the wiring, and it was fine. Eventually, he found a possible fault in one of the sensors and replaced it. The same problem persisted. Sometimes the door would close, sometimes it wouldn't. He ended up calling Lift Master, and it turns out that on my particular model you cannot just change one of the safety sensors, you have to change both. So, after he changed the second one, it works perfectly. The dedication and professionalism Max displayed in determining the resolution to this problem was top notch, as was his work on the overhaul. I cannot thank him enough for a job well done.
