The spring on our garage door broke and Max, your Tech Specialist, was right on time. He called ahead and confirmed his arrival time. When he arrived he was really friendly and very respectful of us and our home. He explained the work required and in great detail what my options were. After I selected the work I wanted performed, he got right to it. The work was done in a timely fashion and with excellent quality. I will absolutely refer Precision to my friends and neighbors. If I could give a lower rating I would. Patrick the technician took advantage of the fact that we were not home but my 76 year old mother was there. He talked her into overhauling the whole garage door instead of just the simple fix it should have been. He charged her $884.00 without ever consulting me, the home owner. I will never use their company ever again.

I have reviewed the information (estimates and invoice) and spoke with the technician, Patrick, as well as the owner. There were 3 estimates provided for 3 different options that were recommended based on the 25 point safety inspection of your garage door and operator. The options range from the most minimal repair, to a solution that will leave your garage door in tip top shape and you won’t need additional work and repairs done in the near future. We were assured by the adult in the home that she was making the decision on the repair work and wanted it fixed right so there would be no worries. (per the invoice provided with the options and signature of authorization for the work). We want our customers to be happy and pleased with the service and repair work, so your email and review are completely contrary to what we strive for. Patrick and Max came out for my service call. Patrick was training Max. Max did the work with Patrick’s guidance while Patrick answered questions. They did exceptional work, answered any and all questions, while providing humor and honest opinions on future services. Internet search and there was a Prince William County number. I was surprised that even though there are these numbers that the office and techs still come from Fredericksburg. That is along haul out to other Northern VA areas especially early on weekdays. You should consider adding a location closer to the McLean / Fairfax area is my guess. Everything was great however. No issues. Jon did a great job, he communicated his arrival time in advance, and he did a full inspection of the door even though I was just replacing the key pad.

Matthew was my technician and the work was performed on 5/27/19. He arrived timely and was very knowledgeable about garage doors in general and the specific issue (replacement of the spring) he came to repair.
