Our garage door had a number of issues and needed an overhaul. It also had a safety sensor issue that was preventing the door from closing. I called Precision late in the afternoon and was able to get an appointment first thing the next day. Max showed up right on time and went right to work. Straightening the rails, new rollers, new springs, etc. Then came the sensor issue. He aligned them both, the lights were on as they should be, and sometimes the garage would close, sometimes it wouldn't. He checked every inch of the wiring, and it was fine. Eventually, he found a possible fault in one of the sensors and replaced it. The same problem persisted. Sometimes the door would close, sometimes it wouldn't. He ended up calling Lift Master, and it turns out that on my particular model you cannot just change one of the safety sensors, you have to change both. So, after he changed the second one, it works perfectly. The dedication and professionalism Max displayed in determining the resolution to this problem was top notch, as was his work on the overhaul. I cannot thank him enough for a job well done.

The spring on our garage door broke and Max, your Tech Specialist, was right on time. He called ahead and confirmed his arrival time. When he arrived he was really friendly and very respectful of us and our home. He explained the work required and in great detail what my options were. After I selected the work I wanted performed, he got right to it. The work was done in a timely fashion and with excellent quality. I will absolutely refer Precision to my friends and neighbors. Service appointment was scheduled for the day after I called and Max arrived early (I like early!) and got right to work. He clearly explained several different repair options for my beat up garage door and once an option was decided on, he performed the repairs quickly and efficiently. Could not ask for a better experience, definitely a 5 star company!

If I could give a lower rating I would. Patrick the technician took advantage of the fact that we were not home but my 76 year old mother was there. He talked her into overhauling the whole garage door instead of just the simple fix it should have been. He charged her $884.00 without ever consulting me, the home owner. I will never use their company ever again.

I have reviewed the information (estimates and invoice) and spoke with the technician, Patrick, as well as the owner. There were 3 estimates provided for 3 different options that were recommended based on the 25 point safety inspection of your garage door and operator. The options range from the most minimal repair, to a solution that will leave your garage door in tip top shape and you won’t need additional work and repairs done in the near future. We were assured by the adult in the home that she was making the decision on the repair work and wanted it fixed right so there would be no worries. (per the invoice provided with the options and signature of authorization for the work). We want our customers to be happy and pleased with the service and repair work, so your email and review are completely contrary to what we strive for. Patrick and Max came out for my service call. Patrick was training Max. Max did the work with Patrick’s guidance while Patrick answered questions. They did exceptional work, answered any and all questions, while providing humor and honest opinions on future services.
