Excellent same day service! Kevin called beforehand to let me know when he would arrive, arrived on time, and quickly fixed my garage door. He showed me beautiful options for garage door replacement that would work well with the design if our home, left an estimate for future reference and a glossy color brochure with photos and colors. He was warm, professional, and low key. We will definitely hire him when we decide to replace our door which is over 49 years old. Highly recommend!

The team did a great job. They evaluated the operation, identified the problem, advised us of the options, we choose and the team fixed the wiring, replaced the wheels and performed maintenance.

Kevin did a great job. Professional and finished the job in a matter of minutes. He was able to do the job in only a few hours after I called Precision--scheduled Appointment in a matter of hours instead of 2 days.

Patrick was timely and professional. He called to give me an ETA which was appreciated. He made every effort possible to not replace everything and tried to work with the older door equipment we had which was also appreciated. Thanks!

My self-generated overhead door problem arose when I decided to make the repair myself. Of course, this resulted in unmitigated failure. I hate that word! With other home-owner, even more critical issues to deal with . . . and after bending to the task to repair the door problem without success after six hours . . . I caved. Google to the rescue. Near the top of the list was Precision Door Service. My failure occurred on Saturday…door left partially open. Open invitation to burglars and thieves. Was anyone out there who would arrive on a Sunday to save my home-owner life? (patriotic music!). “Hello, this is Precision Door Service. May I help you?” “Yes. I have a problem. I’m in Burke, Virginia. I tried to fix my garage door and it didn’t work. I know this is Saturday. Can you help me?” “Yes. We can have someone out there tomorrow (Sunday!)” Is that okay?” An appointment was set. Noon to 2 Sunday. Sunday! Set your watch. At noon, Matt Meier arrived. We looked over the problem. He gave me a reasonable estimate. In less than two hours, the door operated as well as new. Can I give more than five stars?

The technician was very patient in explaining to me what the problems were, how they occur, and how they could be addressed. I was satisfied with his explanations and his guidance of the alternatives available to me to address what I wanted done.

Outstanding service and knowledge by the technician. We would NEVER consider doing business with another overhead door firm. Precision is simply the very best at what they do.

So far so Great! We called this morning, made an appointment, had the work done (spring and strut), and all was completed by the end of the day. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is we figure we should make sure all stays well for a few hours!

I was amazed that that I was able to call after 7pm day prior and have a repair tech at my house the next day. The Tech explained the issues and made repairs in a timely manner. Thanks 5 stars

Patrick was prompt, courteous and professional. He had the required materials on the truck and got the job done quickly. The only downside is that the cost of the repair seemed high.

We could not have asked for better service than Patrick and Precision Door Service in Fredericksburg, VA gave us yesterday! Patrick thoroughly checked out our 9-ft. garage door and tested the two remotes. We already knew that one of the remotes despite new batteries was no longer working, and, in trying various reprogramming methods, Patrick determined that the motherboard in the remote was malfunctioning. We are so very grateful to him for his thoroughness and professionalism. It also does not hurt that his personality is charming! This is the second time we have used Precision and it was another superior service that they provided to us. (The last time in 2013 they replaced the rollers and springs so that they would better support the heavy 9ft. door.)

I have used Precision twice and found them to be very professional and the work done satisfactorily. They provided all pricing up front and I thought the cost was reasonable. I will use them again if needed.
