When I called, I was very specific for an estimate and to be sent directly to me via email because I would be away. My husband isn't able to make a decision about the garage issue. Instead the technician gives him a quote and asked my husband, whose not very clear-headed right now, if he wanted the work down. My husband was confused and gave consent. And so he does the work, despite my request that it was only for an estimate and that it would be sent to me via email. I had received a quote that was $800 from another company. The tech charged my husband $1555.00. Then the technician tells my husband that if he doesn't receive an email with the receipt right away, it will take 2-3 days to give it to him. I came home and found out all that had happened. I was never given the quote via email, and was concerned who this person is because he now has our credit card info. I called Precision Garage to get the receipt right away because when you pay, you get a receipt right away. And I was able to get the receipt. I feel like we have been taken advantage of, especially my husband's inability to make a decision, and I made it clear that the guy coming was only to give me an estimate.

Justin did a great job explaining the situation and recommending what was a priority, and what could be done later. I chose Precision Garage Door after an internet search and their having the earliest availability. Matt was my technician and he was outstanding. I received a call when he was on his way, within the agreed upon time frame. Upon arrival Matt was curteous and helpful. He performed an inspection of my door and free of charge performed some basic maintenance tasks that were above what one would have expected. He gave me a quote to solve my problem, broken tension springs, and was fast to get to work. Overall I would certainly recommend him to any neighbors and friends who find themselves with and unexpected garage door repair need.

Matt was a terrific help repairing broken springs, bearings, rollers, and more. Felt like he went above and beyond inspecting the entire assembly vs just fixing a symptom, and gave me repair options in priority order (urgent vs preventative) to consider against my budget. Then spent time with me reviewing operating procedures until I got it right (I didn't on the first time). Thought I was just getting a spring repaired -- turned out to be so much more thorough and will save me time and money later. Thanks, Matt!

Sunday afternoon and my garage door remote was no longer working. I called Precision Garage door with low hopes of having anyone come out and with every expectation of paying a premium for Sunday service. Well, I was wrong on both counts - the service was excellent and Matt - who was awesome and extremely professional - showed up quickly and didn't charge me at all! He pointed out that painters we had earlier in the week accidentally "locked" the garage door. He was only here for 10 minutes or so, but he left a strong positive impression - would definitely call Precision Garage door again!

Appointment was easy to make. The technician arrived during the provided window. They texted a photo ahead of time, a great security feature. Matt took the time to walk me through exactly what was wrong, and all available options to remediate with no pressure to upsale. Spring broke on the working side of the garage turning a procrastination into an actual problem. Layne came by, assessed, made some recommendations, went to work and repaired both sides in a couple hours. Cleaned up after himself and explained in detail some maintenance to prevent future issues. Needed him same day and he was at the house around 90 minutes from me making the appointment. All parts on hand.
